Picture this 10 adults and 13 kids (2mn-6yrs) and beautiful weather in the 70s.
Unlimited running space and a forest full of trees to explore and climb. Add in some deer, coyotes, racoons, armadillos, bunnies, and a few thousand mosquitos. Imagine smores, hot chocolate, and home cooked meals cooked for you.
That was our WONDERFUL camping weekend. It was close to perfect!
The kids and I went up early on Friday afternoon to reserve all the camping spots for the families. With a little tip from the park ranger we got the perfect spot. It was a HUGE space of land with access the water about 100 feet away, the kids ran wild all weekend while the adults did their fair share of playing and chilling.

Personally one of my favorite part of the whole weekend was having to bring and prepare ONE meal. Each family was in charge of one meal for the entire group...we ate good. Here the kids are enjoying chocolate chip pancakes:)
Jeff and Ava playing baseball. She is pretty bad at playing catch, she closes her eyes everytime it comes close to landing in her glove.

Fun! That's a great idea with sharing the meals. Ava looks so grown up.
