We stuck around for a few of the races. You could bring your own frog to race or they had some that they provided. If Jeff had been there I would have let Ty race a frog...but there was NO way I was going to touch one.
If you kissed this frog he would turn into a prince.
The best thing about the festival is all of the things they had for the kids. There was a huge sand box with a variety of toys, it was a little boys HEAVEN. We spent about an hour here, literally.
All through out the kids section there were several playgrounds and riding toys at random everywhere...Ty didn't even have to share.
The only things that could have been better was the weather. It rained on an off all morning. This is us hiding under a umbrella to watch a puppet show.
Ty admired Patched as soon as he laid eyes on him, and we had to go check him out. In exchange for a "high five" he made Ty a dog shaped balloon.
This is one very proud owner of a dog shaped balloon.
I guess somehow these toad were special because they were on display. If you can't tell they were HUGE!!
More then a couple weekends ago Ty and I packed up and headed to Conway for Toad Suck Daze. It was the first time I had ever gone although I've lived in Arkansas going on seven years. I was amazed at all of the things that could be fried...oreos, twinkes, reeses, snickers, tomatoes, corn..you name it. I only tried the fried snickers and my mouth did a little dance as I ate it!! It was THAT good. The festival was fun but the weather cut our time short. I'll definately have to go every year!
