The real world

I get so nervous and scared thinking about Ty growing up and being a teenage boy in this day and age. All the temptations and peer pressure... I want to shelter him and put a guard around his heart so he will never experience the evils of Satan. A reality hit me today as he was playing and out of his virgin mouth he repeatedly said, "dang, dang, dang, dang!" I realize this is not a curse word but it's one that Jeff and I don't say...so I knew he had to pick it up at school.... preschool school! I know I can't shelter him forever but I want him to innocent. As a parent, this world scares me!

April,

Wow, Ty had grown so much. He's such the little man. Are you guys going to have any more kids? You know I think about all that stuff too for my future kids and I don't having yet. At the same time I want to shelter them from all this stuff but on the other hand I don't want to shelter them because they'll never learn. I feel that my parents sheltered me from a lot of stuff and Cale wasn't. He wants to talk and teach our children all these things that I am so iffy on. Maybe that's good or bad. I haven't decided yet. Cale and I are going to try to start our family expansion in December. I'm glad to see the pictures and see you and Jeff are doing good. If you are ever in TX let me know.

Love ya,

Tasha
