I woke up this morning rested. I looked over at the clock at it was nearly 9am. I smiled with delight thinking my kids finally slept in (they both have been waking me up around 6am and only a few weeks ago they were both sleeping until 9am).
Thinking Ty was probably already awake playing with his toys I rolled out of bed and when I walked into the kitchen I found this site (see above pictures) The big shocker was not that they were both awake it was that they were BOTH out of BED. (And Ava sleeps in a crib). I quized Ty about how Ava got out of her crib. He informed me that he took her out of her crib. I asked for the visual description and he showed me. He climbed into Ava's crib with her then picked her up and lifted her over the crib onto his bed. (He told me she stayed on the bed and didn't fall off while he climbed out of the climb and back onto the bed...as if that makes it ok). Then he stood up on the bed picked her up again and "bounced" to his bottom on the edge of the bed (while holding Ava) then onto the ground. He said she didn't even cry and he just opened to door and let her out. He then gets himself completely dressed puts his PJS in the drawer. He told me he would have put clothes on Ava but they were too high for him to reach. Apparently Ava finds a squirt bottle while digging in the cabnets and brings it to Ty. He then fills it up for her and gives it to her to drink. Who knows how long the two of them had been awake and roaming free in the house. I was in total shock to see Ava when I rounded the corner to the kitchen. She was sitting drinking out of the squirt bottle with the front of her PJs
soaked just watching Ty do a puzzle.
The good thing is that we now have a free babysitter, Ty proved that he can take care of Ava all by himself...just kidding. Me and my buddy Ty had a serious talk about how dangerous it is for a baby to out of the crib when the mommy is sleeping...however he did inform me that he was watching her.
They just started sharing a room not to long ago and apparently Ava wakes him up talking to him every morning. So he just set her free.
Those kids...praise God nothing happened. How would I explain it to CPS!I can hardly believe it myself.
