happy girl

My Ava Tater will be 1 years old in 10 days, on July 5.

1. Although I like to say she is fiesty (Ok I have no idea how to spell that word)she really is a great little girl. She is pretty even tempered but at the same time she is a toddler so at any given moment she will bust out crying when she doesn't get her way, BUT in that same note you can distract and have her smiling seconds later.

2. She has three great loves her passy (I went cold turkey with the bottle and passy 2 days after Ty turned 1, he did great with it and transitioned onto the sippy and cried just the 1st night without it....it won't be so easy with Ava) She has the sippy cup down and is losing her love for the bottle but the passy is a DIFFERENT story. I only give it to her at nap and night time...and when we are in the car...and whenever Ty finds it he gives it to her...and if we are out shopping during her nap time...or during church...ok so maybe it's my lifesaver and I don't want to quite it cold turkey. She also loves strong> toothbrushes .
It is a GIVEN given that there will be a SCREAMING tantrum (and maybe a little physical action) if Ty takes it away from her. Which is why he like to do it, typically brother. She loves to chew on it. Before I got her a toothbrush she would hover around Ty will he was brushing his teeth waiting for him to pass it onto her. Sweetly yet so gross when he was done he would pass it down to Ava for her to chew on. Lastly her new love is her BABY. She loves that thing and doesn't share it. She KNOWS it is hers and will throw a fit if she sees Ty with it. The new rule around here is that it is the ONE thing Ava doesn't have to share.

3. She is starting to talk and do alot of repeating...Ava say ________ and she will repeat it. Stuff she says on her own is dada, grandad, Ty, hi, ba-ba (bottle), bye, outside, ball, bi (bite), Seth.

4. Mooch, the child is a MOOCH. She is entitled (thinks) to anything and everything
you are eating or drinking.

5. She likes to play rough. Ty loves for her to bite him, pull his hair, jump on him, hit him...he loves to knock her down, shoot things at her, wrestle with her, and give her spanking...they both laugh the whole time, can you see the MONSTER he is making. I'll tell her no-no but then Ty chimes in and says,"Mom it's ok, it doesn't hurt." I'm not so sure the other babies in the nursery will think it doesn't hurt if she starts doing it to them. She did get physically with someone else besides Ty yesterday. Cousin Titus took a toy from her while she was playing with it and the little pistol starting slapping him on the face while screaming like a wild woman...WOW! The girl can hold her own, which she is learning from being around Levi, Ty and Titus so much. She is on the end of the pecking order and everything falls on her.

6. She still is fickle about animals. Sometimes she likes then but at other times they make her scream.

7. She is becoming a little copy cat. If Ty does it, she is going to try it out.
This morning Ty was doing a floor puzzle and not long after she was on the floor trying to force pieces together.

8. I might be biased but I think she is beautiful. I love to dress her up and fix her hair, pig tails are our latest trend. However as soon as we get in the car she starts pulling everything off her bows, socks, shoes. AHHH! It drives me crazy:)

9. If she was around Jeff more she would be a serious daddy's girl. The past 6 months has been hit and miss with Jeff. He has been out of town alot with his job. But when he is home she lights up and loves on him. He had just her for 3 days last week while I was watching Chris' kids...when I finally met up with them Ava wanted nothing to do with me she only wanted her daddy. He left for England Friday and she walked around all day looking and saying dada, dada.

10. My favorite things about her are her smile and laugh. She loves to get tickeled now and play the whole chase run away game that goes along with it. She got several silly and sweet smiles, her face just has so much expression.

She's a climber and fearless. I was used to a fearless baby because that is how Ty was but she is my first climber.

Her hair has a little wave to it. Growing up I ALWAYS wanted dark curly hair with and blue eyes...the little stinker took my wish.

The lover of bathes. Ok I realize she's a little to big for sink bathes but on this day it was just easier.
