The week before

Ever since VBS Ty has loved playing puppets. He put on several puppet shows for us while we were at the muesum. Totally cute!

This was a hit with Ty. There was a whole area set up little a supermarket. The kids could get groceries and then take them to the counter to check out. It was my turn to play the check out clerk.

In hindsight the timing of Ava's arrival all worked out in perfect timing. We had a week and a half as a family to spend together hitting up all the cool kid spots in town. We went to the zoo, a bouncy land, the childrens muesum, lots of swimming and walks around Ty's favorite mall. The pictures are from the childrens muesum. The night we went was a free family night so the place was packed. Some of the displays were over Ty's understanding but the hands on stuff he really loved.
