halloween fun

I believe Ty's favorite part about the Jack-o-latern was trying to blow out the candle inside.

The master carvers showing off their talent. It took us 3 hours to carve this pumpkin. Actually Jeremy did most of the carving but I did trace the pattern onto the pumpkin. In case you can't tell, it's scooby doo in a witches hat.

I accidently posted this one twice. I just have one complaint about the Houston...it's the weather..it makes my face break out . Of course in combination with being pregnant my face has no hope of a clear completion for the next 9 months.

Can you see the scooby doo outline?

Ty completely decorated his own pumpkin cookie, icing and all. Then he proceeded to eat it. The kid never took a bite of the cookie but licked off all the icing...I got sick just watching him. Talk about a sugar rush, he was HARD to put to bed after this.

Without Jeremys knife skills the pumpkin would have been a flop!

After we got the top off of the pumpkin we dug the insides out. Ty was very skeptical and resistant to stick his hand inside..he kept saying it was nasty. He was standing on a stool next to me and as he slowly reached his hand into the pumpking he slipped on the stool and his hand dove into the nastiness. He started screaming and flipping out. This action shot was taken as he was falling into the pumpkin...his face makes me laugh so hard.

Ty had his cookie that he did with no aid then there was a plate that I helped him to decorate. They actually tasted really good, however there was a warning placed on the cookies because ty swipped his finger every cookie to taste test the icing.

Ty was decorating his own cookie. He said he could do it by himself. A familiar phrase I hear often. If you look carefully you'll notice that MANY of the sprinkles and icing that never made it to his cookie.

In the honor of fall and all things Halloween we made a night of celebration. Ty and I made pumpkins cookie then carved a pumpkin. Actually Jeremy and I were the only one that carved the pumpkin but the fall spirit was in the air.

I love your hair April. Mine is to the middle of my back now. I think maybe after the baby is born I will cut it short again. Ty is so handsome.
