Ty had just turned 3 when we went to Rawhide in Arizona and did this rodeo (flashback post). This is when he won the mutton busting contest (sheep riding) I still laugh thinking back to that day.

The rodeo is coming to town in a few weeks and I asked Ty if he wanted to ride a sheep again. His response was, "Will I win another trophy?"
The boy loves trophies (and they don't have to be ones he has earned) he has confiscated Jeff's old ones and even bought some at a garage sale.
I couldn't promise a trophy win (I think the winner of each sesson wins a belt buckle) but he wanted to sign-up for mutton busting anyway.
What I didn't realize is that this is the only year he is eligible to do it at our rodeo.
Of course I will take lots of pictures and video the event. If you want to see it 1st hand let me know and I'll tell you the exact day and time he will be competing. I anticipate that he will do good, mainly because of his freakishly strong upper body strength. Even without a win it will be fun to watch him!
