This Valentines Day we had lots of fun staying in the theme of the day. There was no romantic date but a day full of family activites topped off by watching the movie Fireproof after we put the kids to bed. With Jeff being gone the week before V-day then turning around and leaving the week after Valentines day, the kids wouldn't have had it any other way.

Ava is "rolling out the dough" for her pizza

The day before V-Day the kids and I made cupcakes, cards, and decorated with balloons and streamers to surprise Jeff when we got home.

The card that Ty made for Jeff. He said he loves Jeff because "daddy keeps me safe"
I love it when Ty draws pictures then tells a "story" about what is happening.

Jeff and Ty enjoying the finished product of their heart pizzas.

Ava can definately be a girly girl at times. She HATES to get her hands dirty and even requests to eat ice cream cone with a spoon. Watching her try to eat this cupcake was halirous and it took forever. She picked it up SO many times only to put it down as soon she got icing on her fingers.

Can you tell Ty was in charge of the red sprinkles? These were some YUMMY cupcakes. I used wipped buttercream icing and will never go back to any other flavor.

We made homemade pizza sahped like hearts that turned out DELICOUS!

Jeff worked at Dominos during college so he was and old pro at forming the dough.
