My side of the family. Starting on the back row, Cory and Christina, Doug and Chelsea, Jennifer (Addison) Peyton (Brooklyn), Me and Jeff. On the couch is my Dad holding Seth, Ty, Levi, Titus, Mom and Ava. It is quite a party when this gang gets together. This year was fast and furious as we only had a couple of days all together as a family. This year we went to Putt-Putt where we played go carts, Putt-Putt, video games, batting cages, bumper cars, and of course the play ground. Fun Times!

This was the COMPLEX roller coaster I put together over Christmas. My dad got it for my mom as a present and I spent HOURS putting the 1,000s of pieces together. Once it was finished it was really cool with 2 battery operated coasters that raced the track.
And apparently that is ALL the pictures I have of Christmas at my parents house.
I took many more but they are MIA.

This was 1/2 of Ty's Christmas present from Santa...a transformers costume.

The second half of his present was a really cool Transformers helmet. However he would not wear the costume and the helmet together because he's all about keeping things in sets (since the costume came with it's on dinky mask he only wore the dinky mask with the costume). I thought he was going to be ALL over his Christmas from Santa but I think he's only played with the mask 3 or 4 times since.

He was REALLY into all the goodies in his stocking. For the first time I finally made the kids stockings. They are both out of the same pattern but I used different fabric. Ty wanted transformers, anymore surprised? Ava's was my favorite, it had a red background with Christmas trees and a zebra print accents.

A girl after my own heart...she is by no means a morning person(you can see the tip of Ava's stocking)

This family picture is as good as it gets. As you can see Ty is sticking out his tongue (he likes to do silly pictures these days, especially when the rest of us are not) and Ava is typically to distracted to even look at the camera.

Christmas Eve in their matching PJS.This is the only time I WANT them to match. Do you know how hard it is to find matching PJ for a boy 5T and girl 2T. Especially without making them too girly or too masculine. I hit up MANY stores and without wanting to break the bank over PJS I found these the week before clearanced out. "Chillin' with my Homies" would not have been my first choice but like I said do you know how hard it is to find matching PJs.

So tired waiting for Santa to come they both finally went to sleep.

Another family photo. Ava is enjoying her last few days with the passy in this pictures. I "pulled the plug" after Christmas for the 2nd time and it was successful. It's wonderful being passy free...it's one less thing to keep up with.

I love this little silly picture, Ty tries to make Ava smile for pictures which usually turns into him checking out her reaction verses looking at the camera

Ty's letter to Santa. He told Jeff what to write and refered to himself in 3rd person... then Ty drew a picture for Santa.

Ava got a tea party set from Granni and Grandad. Grandad got down on the floor to play with her...I think this is the sweetest picture.

Here she is with Granni, doggie, George, and dolly sharing some tea.

Jeff's side of the family. On the front row: Mandy with Ty, Me and Jeff. Back: Valerie, Carolon, Ava and Jerry. As you can see they are the only grandkids on Jeff's side of the family and they are VERY much the center of attention and spoiled rotten.

Ty and Valerie. I seriously didn't realize how many pictures Ty stuck his tongue out in until I posted these. What a goon!

Ty opening up Ava's present. Ava knew there were "goods" inside the paper but couldn't manage to open them herself. After watching Ty's lightening speed at tearing the paper off she took her presents over to Ty for him to open.

They have never looked more alike to me then they do in this picture.

Me and my sister Christina. We were on our way to an ornament exchange at our church and snapped a picture together.

At a pancake and pajama breakfast with Santa. Ty was more then excited to sit on Santas lap Ava screamed and cried and Jeff came to the rescue. Ava couldn't even stand to look at Santa.
Once again, my apologizes to those that read this and expect this to be error free...the spell check it not working so this is me in raw form

I love that you are posting christmas pics and it is almost March!! I love it bc i just posted some of mine a while back, so it makes me feel better about how crazy-busy life gets! :o)
The pic of you and Chris is just beautiful... you McCarty girls get even prettier with age I think!
I wanted to tell you my pj advice... I get my kids matching christmas pjs every year, but my secret is that I buy them AFTER christmas at the childrens place for the next year (so I buys a size bigger for each kid). They have some fuzzy ones (my boys got green ones this year, but they have them in all colors and they even have them in baby sizes.) I just bought red and white ones for next year. Anywhoo, they open them up on Christmas eve and wear them that night. It is a fun tradition. I refuse to pay the $19.95 per child for something to sleep in, so I got them in February for $2.99 a pair! :o) I always just stick them in my christmas bin and put it up in the attick so I know right where they are when we unpack the tree the next year... sorry for the novel... just a thought!
Good to hear from you... you are too cute preggo!!
It's worth waiting two months for an update like that! I love seeing photos of the whole McCarty clan. My other favorite the kids passed out in their matching pjs. Precious!
I love looking at pictures of your family. Ty and Ava seem like they get along amazingly. I think it is so sweet (and RARE) for a sister to get a brother to open her presents.
I love your family picture - makes it even more special that Ty is sticking his tongue out! :o)
