I thought I would update on my girl first since she seems to be the one changing the most. Let me just start off saying that I LOVE HER! She is getting into her own little personality and seeing all her different moods just makes me laugh. She is stubborn as all get out, especially in the mornings. Typically I have been letting her chill out in her bed for atleast 30 minutes AFTER she wakes up before I let her loose. She is obviously NOT a morning person. Once she is in the grove of her day she is just a goofy kid. She says the silliest things many of which are copied from Ty. Like when I change her diaper she'll stick her foot in my face and say, "Smell the foot, mama!" At no surprise her brother does this to her often and she has turned the joke onto me. She is little parrot copying everything Ty says and does, it is the worst in the car. Just the other day Ty was asking he, "how something worked" and then for the next several minutes all I heard from Ava was "how, mamma, how?" And her little banter is only encouraged as Ty and I both laugh at her.
Her speech is really coming along. She can put words together to make sentences and it seems almost every other day she surprised me with something new she says. For example the other as we were driving I turned to her and said, "Ava, do you see the birds?" She replies to me, "No momma, I no see birds" I turned back a little shocked but not all that surprised. While she can say some 4-5 words sentences and talks ALL the time at home, she will NOT say a peep in Bible Class. I've been helping with her class and the teacher will try to get the kids to talk and repeat after her but Ava just smiles and turns her head. She is definately a "slow to warm up" kind of kid (unlike my son at her age who would complete strangers in Wal-Mart to hold him just to get out of the cart.) Seriously the girl already has the "evil-eye" down and will glare at any stranger who talks to her. But with those she knows she is a loving and cuddly like kid. She is just as content to be held and hugged then to be running around playing. My favorite thing is when she wraps her sweet little arms around me lays her head on my shoulder, she does this just about everytime I pick her up.
She is a mooch. If you have food be prepared to share it with her, except this can get a little tricky since she is allergic to milk (which puts a limit on the things she can eat). Speaking of food, the girl can put it down and most days she eats more then Ty.
She is a little copy cat of Ty all things that he does but, she definately has put up a wall of personal space with him and is NOT a big fan when he roughs around with her. Bless his heart the girl can be confusing..one minutes she loves what he is doing and laughs so he does it repeatedly then usually but the 3 time she is crying.
There are many days I have to implement a "don't touch Ava" rule to Ty. But she is definately happier when the boys are around, Ty and daddy. She is in love with her daddy and has him wrapped around her finger. I can honestly say Jeff gives into her and gives her anything she wants. I think she is still trying to figure it all out when he goes out of town. Every time she hears the door open she calls out "dadda" and starts running for the door (usually to be dissappointed).
She is a little girly girl with the bows and dresses. She doesn't like to get her hands dirty and she HATES sand and won't go near animals. But at the same time she has some tom-boy in her thanks to Ty; she loves to go outside, she has great balance, she loves to climb on things, and she has great gross motor skills for a little tot.
Looking back at pictures only a few months ago, her hair has really started to grow out. She has Jeff's hair which is a curse on a girl. It it corse and has some curl to that has to be tamed or it frizzes and goes in every direction. Last week I cut her some bangs and she got called a boy twice that day at the grocery store. Needness to say I'll let them grow out. She is obsessed with shoes (especailly boot because she can and WANTS to put them on herself) and she also loves her babies. She has 2 that she carries with her. One is a little dreams doll that granni gave a few weeks ago. It cries and makes noise and says Mamma and Dadda. She makes Jeff and I hold it all the time as if it were a real baby, she calls this baby "baby". Her second baby is a doll we got for Ty a little before she was born (I sewed it some new clothes because I couldn't stand the texture of the clothes it came with) She calls this baby- "baby doll." I've tried to give them names but she keeps going back to baby and babydoll. She loves to push them in her stroller and play with them in her little doll play station. She sleeps with one on each side of her at night.
Her stats: she is 19 months and 25 pounds..just perfect!
Some of her favorite things start with a "B"
Babies (especially those with a bottle)
Bubbles
Balls
Boots
Books- her favorite is Brown Bear, Brown Bear
Berries- especially Blueberries
Belly Buttons
Well I think that's enough for now!
AND I apologize...the spell check is not working, I'm too tired to go back and proof read so muddle your way through the errors

The new bangs..hopefully they will grow fast

She thought she might like to stomp around in the rain with her rain boots on...that was a fleeting thought, she screamed and rain inside (it was little too cold)

Bubbles!

Not counting this week or last, we've had some really beautiful weather here up in the 70s and 80s. One day I busted out the turtle and filled it up with water (I did boil several pots of water and added to the water mix). The kids played in the water all afternoon. The next day I poured out the water and added sand. Ty was thrilled but Ava was UPSET...she wouldn't not touch the stuff and kept telling me "more water, momma, more water"

Here she is trying to get her game plan for eating a V-day cupcake. It did take a long while for her to finish it, she was really concerned about getting icing on her fingers. Several times she started to pick it up and would put it down to get the icing off her hands

Loving on her babies. This one is baby, baby is going "night-night" so she is giving her kisses.

She is starting to branch out to other "babies" occasionally she will play with Minnie Mouse, monkey and a doll she got from her aunt Mandy. She sets them up in a chair them tries to squeeze herself into the seat with them.

To me this picture doesn't really look like her..but this is her "smile" face she is starting to do at the camera

Proof she is NOT a morning person. This is from Christmas morning. She was not impressed with the presents or anything the morning had to offer.

Feeding baby.

The whiny face when she wants her way.

Little Miss Independent (This is actually from a few months back). In theme of being just like Ty she prefers to feed herself with a spoon at every meal and drink out of a cup with no lid. This usually leads to a scrub down after every meal. She has improved a little over time and now is allowed to eat with her clothes on.

Proof she is NO fan of a stranger. This is over Christmas at a PJ & Pancake breakfast with Santa. She went crazy when we sat her on Santas lap, our second attempt was to sit her on Ty's lap while he sat on Santa...as you can see that was a bust as well

I love the Ava update! We forget that stuff so fast, you're smart to get it down.
She is SOOO cute. I can see Ty in her in the bath picture.
