Alright so I could have put all of the Halloween related posts into one..but what would have been the fun in that. They were all three distinct events so they deserve 3 different posts. This was from Halloween night. We were in Corpus but heard they were having a mall-o-ween. We joined in on the action (the mall was packed, but it was really fun to see hundreds of little kids in all dressed up.)
Ty's trick or treating skills have improved since last year. He was polite and said thankyou but most of the time he forgot to say trick or treat. He would just walk up to them and hold up his pumpkin. Once they dropped the candy into his bucket he would look to see what they gave him (still standing in the same location..remember there are tons of kids trying to get candy) and if they only gave him one piece he wouldn't move. Some how Jeff turned our trick or treating adventure into a shoe shopping adventure. We walked into buckle (we were walking..ty was being a lion crawling on all 4s). Anyways one of the workers really played it up. He jumped onto a display and started screaming there was a lion in the store. This got Ty so excited and
he began to crawl faster growling at the guy. It was pretty halirous!!
Speaking of malls, our hotel is right accross the highway from the one in McAllen. Apparently on Monday an 18 wheeler raced accrossed the border without stopping. He was chased down by police and finally came to a stop at the mall (the one right accross the street). He jumped out of the truck carrying a gun and ran into the mall. The police never caught him. We haven't been back to the mall since.

Okay, stay away from the guy with a gun, but other than that - I love your Halloween post! Emily growled like a lion at Ty's picture. Haha.
Had my first appointment today - took a little while to find the heartbeat, so that was scary. But it's there and everything's okay.
