The cowboy outfit was short lived. On the way to the zoo, we stopped so that Ty could use the bathroom. I'm still not really sure how it happened but with Jeff's aid Ty managed to pee all over his shirt. We made a quick stop at Old Navy to get a replacement a found the halloween costums on clearance. Ty picked to be a lion (which was the same outfit cousin Titus wore)
Just a few pictures of some of the favorite animals we saw..Longhorns..go figure
I'ld never seen a baby elephant before
This picture is out of order, it was actually at the end of the day. After several hours at the zoo, he was worn out and slept in Granni's arms
Grandad and Aunt Val
Yes, this costum was as hot as it looks but that didn't stop Ty. He DID NOT want to take it off. October in Houston isn't exactly breezy, but the boy wanted to say in character (he even took a nap in it). Towards the end of the day he let us take the head off, but only for a brief moment.
Me and Ty dancing to the cha cha slide

The Nelson boys
I took this picture just for the atmoshpere. There were plastic and real pumpkins everywhere.
The lion in the wild

He took his role as a lion seriously. He would "bite" people pretend to eat them as well as crawl on all fours (a little embarrasing in a public place)
