A boy and his dog

I'm thinking I might have Ty be a cowboy and dress Elle up as a horse for Halloween

Elle is light enough for Ty to hold but to her credit she is fast to enough to not get caught

Elle is not as fond of Ty as he is of her. Typically she makes every attempt to escape from him. I could have to do with the fact that he used to chase her around the backyard with his golf clubs.

This is how most of the walk went on our way to the park. The two buddies walked side by side.

As soon as we walked out of the backyard fence Elle took off. Ty attempted to keep up with her and was determined to not let her go. Picture about 5 seconds after this was taken. Elle has successfully escaped Ty's grip and is half way down the road. Ty is laying on the street crying with bloody hands and knee from being dragged. He then starts screaming and telling Elle that she's not his friend anymore (his new favorite phrase when he gets mad).

I took off running down the street and thanks to my lighting speed I was able to catch Elle and returned her to Ty. He was so proud that we got her back and then said, "Elle is my dog!"

This one is my favorite!
The time had come for me to face the Houston weather, I hadn't been out of the house for 2 days. I had a great idea of taking Elle for a walk to the park. Elle was first dog Jeff and I got after we got married. Jeff came home one day with her as a surprise. She was just a baby when we got her and she fit right into his coat pocket...she was sooo cute. I even bought a little purse and carried her around in it. She was illegally staying in our apartment at the time and when they found out we had to let her go. Jeff's parents temporary took her into foster care..which turned into a permanent placement (it's been almost 4 years now). They have guarenteed us we will be getting her back when we move to Houston. Ty's really taken to her this visit and claims her as "my dog!"

Oh, my goodness. I can't believe how big Ty looks in these pictures. I would tell you that I would like copies of a few, but I am still waiting on my picture of the three of you and the one of Ty in the bathtub from about a year ago. Auntie Jenn needs some new pictures. The only ones I have are the ones I took! Is Duke still around? You'll have to tell me about the Old Navy finds. I got shoes for 97 cents for Mr.Butts #5...if we ever get a boy. lol. Love ya!

you know you can make copies of the pictures right off of the blog. All you have to do is down load them. So down load away my friend and you can feast you eyes on my little man.
