Man on man I love this girl! She is similar yet completely opposite from her brother. She is a tornado of emotions that can flair up or down at any given moment. She is a demanding little chatter box but will be completely mute in the presence of non-family members. She screams and cries at her brother and the next moment is laughing it up and giggling with him (however at this phase the screaming moments happened WAY more often). She copies EVERYTHING Ty does and says and is fully convinced that she is 5 years old not 21 months. Right now she is dressed up in a super hero costume (Fantastic Four) and Ty is dressed up as Batman, together they are fighting the "bad guys" and she just informed me, "I look awesome" referring to herself. She hates to be by herself and has to be in the presence of others, by "others" I mean me or Ty. She is a little momma and will copy instructions and directions I give to Ty and boss him around. I'm pretty sure she might think of herself as a boy. Currently she is "interested" in Ty's "private" area and tries to pull on it in the bath. Her lasted accomplishment is potty training. She has been doing awesome for about a week now. My goal was to have her potty trained before the baby came and with several failed attempts weeks ago I had given up my goal. However last week she started pulling Ty's undies out of his drawer and wanting to wear them (several of them at a time). I told her if she wanted to wear Ty's undies she had to pee-pee in the potty and low and behold that is the thing that motivated her, to wear her brothers undies. That and giving Ty candy every time he went potty (she just wanted to be like him) go potty and get candy. I have since bought her some girl undies and she has taken pride in wearing them. If we are at home she will use the potty on her own and I've caught her several time standing up next to the potty trying to aim her privates into the toilet, thankfully I've caught her each time and sat her down on the toilet reminding her she was a girl like mommy and we sit on the potty. I'm sure she'll appreciate me sharing this story when she gets older:)
She is a ball of energy and fun. Her legs are covered with bruises from all the bonks and falls she has keeping up with Ty. She is still obsessed with slides and swings with her newest obsession being jumping. She loves to jump on my sisters trampoline especially if she has and audience. The girl is definitely approaching 2 as it shows in her independent behavior from wanting to brush her own teeth to buckling herself in the car seat. So far major fits can be avoided by making up a song and singing it while I do the task for her (she loves songs that have her brother and cousins name in it). She is a little arguer and some day I'm going to count the number of times in a day she says "no", "that's mine", or "stop Ty. She gets concerned whenever Ty is not with us and will ask a zillion times where he is.
She is totally in love with baby dolls and had a outburst of laughs and giggles when we sat next to a newborn baby in church a few weeks ago. I love her hugs and kisses and when she wraps her arms around Jeff's neck. She has already figured out that she has her daddy wrapped around her finger and just this week started screaming his name when I put her in "time out" for throwing a fit. Last night she prayed on her own for the first time, it was precious! (usually she repeats what I say). My favorite part of the night is when I tuck her into bed and I say, " I love you Ava" and she turns to me and says, "I love you momma!" She is my girl and I know all the fussing, fits, and screaming are all apart of this age and stage so I will embrace it and cherish every bit of it.

HAHAHA! You're so good at documenting your kids and their personalities at each stage.
