Jeff and I are moving in 6 days! We're moving into a rental house about an hour away to my favorite side of town. The house is about 5 minutes from our church, YMCA, friends, and best of all it's only 5 minutes from my sisters house. We looked at the house on Thursday and signed the lease agreement yesterday. Initially we wanted to be in that area of town before Ty started Kindergarten in August and were looking at moving in July when Jeff had vacation and wasn't out of the country. However when this house became available, it was the perfect price and location and we jumped on it. All I can say was that God had a hand in making this all come together. The broker told us he was literally getting calls every 5 minutes the day the house went on the market.I just can't tell you how excited I am to be moving back to that area.
On top of that, I picked up an extra few kids to babysit. Christina's sister-in-law is working in the area for the next few weeks and needed a sitter (I already watch Christina kids 2 days a week while she works). It's actually winds up being only 1 day a week that I watch all 8 kids at one time(2 are my own) but you can still call me Kate from John and Kate plus 8. Watching 8 kids 5 and younger makes for a busy day but it's exactly what I need to keep my from constantly thinking about having a baby in 12 days!
My doctor is convinced that I will have this baby before my scheduled induction and wants me to start walking 45-60 minutes every day with the hopes to speed things up.
However I couldn't disagree with her more, especially since we plan on moving in 6 days. I'm hoping the baby sticks to the original schedule giving me time to some what set up the house while I'm still in the "nesting" mode verses the exhausted sleep deprived post baby mode.

I am so happy for you that you found a house. Though, this post stresses me out! LOL I will be keeping you in my thoughts/prayers.
Woa! Life is full steam ahead for you guys. I don't know how you do it...eight kids and moving and having a baby. Wow, I think you're supermom.
i am far from supermom...but being busy beats sitting around and tapping my foot waiting on this baby!
I second Sara Kate's post.. supermom indeed. Feel free to rub that superness on me when we're at Jenn's wedding!
Wish I could be there to help you pack and corral the kiddos!
I pray for a speedy healthy delivery!
