Yesterday, after long day the kids were exhausted and fell asleep in the car, it was late by the time we got back to the hotel so Jeff and I quietly carried them inside. They were both snoozing on our shoulder as we walked inside the hotel (freeze moment#3)...then we both had the same thought, what will we do when we have a 3rd baby, I vote Jeff carries 2 at time:) Tonight Jeff got both the kiddos something special at the store. Ty dove right into his legos and worked on them for 3 hours straight making the exact figurines that are on the box . He is sitting at the kitchen table and I can see him from my bed he has his batman boxers on (that used to be so HUGE) and his cross necklace (last week he earned a quarter at the store and used it buy a cross necklace...he said he choose it because the cross reminds him of Jesus. He told me his is NEVER going to take it off.)So my little man with nothing on but boxers and a cross necklace working so diligently, it's almost midnight but he's not giving up until he puts the "house" together (freeze moment #4). We've got no where to go tomorrow so we are working on his time schedule. When Ava found her gift from Daddy she picked it up giggling and ran to me pushing it in my face. At first she thought it was a drink and when a informed her it was bubbles she began to repeat "bubble, bubble" over and over with a high pitch laughter flapping her hands (freeze moment #5).Hand flapping is what she does when she is SUPER excited, it's almost like she's trying to jump up and down but she doesn't quite have the motor skill.
Days like these are fun, when we have NOTHING on the agenda and the kids get to run the show on what we do and when to do it..for example we didn't even see all the animals and it wasn't a big zoo. But with Ava's little legs and Ty's interest in every moving animal, it made our progression from one exhibit to the next quit slow and wonderful. I love my little monkeys and although I can't keep them from getting bigger I want to always remember when they are small.

I love your "freeze moments". I hope they stay close to your heart forever. Ava is such a little girl! She grew up so fast.
I feel like I always say these two things but I truly mean them:
1. Your children are beautiful.
2. You need to be a photographer.
