DOWNTOWN DISNEY

We left the house at 4:15 am on Saturday. YIKES! We made it to the airport and managed to get ALL of our stuff in and up to the ticket counter. At this point I sit back and coral the kids while Jeff messes with getting all the bags cheked it. His work stuff is always overweight and has to pay extra so that was nothing new...however the extra charges on all our bags was outragous. It was $15 for the first bag and $25 for each additonal one. It's a good thing I packed light (which usually is NOT the case) But we still had to pay a load of money (well Jeff's company did)... I'm not a big fan of Continental airlines.
Once we finally get on the plane...which is a small Express jet, have mentioned I HATE flying in these? We sat in the back of the plane and I could hear every little noise of the jets and the noises just didn't sound right. The plane was jerky and bumpy and I ready for it to be OVER. The good thing was that both kiddos were fast as sleep in my lap and I had the DVD player hooked up and had started the movie Little Women, this was going to be the best plane ride ever. It was a 2 hour flight and the kids would definately sleep until we arrived at the gate. I was getting more relaxed until Jeff (sitting behind us) said the plane just turned around. We're flying back towards Houston. And not long after his observation the pilot announced we would be heading back to Houston to get on a different plane. YIKES! They informed us that it wasn't a safety problem but a disbatch problem..WHATEVER! We were almost half way there! DISBATCH my FOOT! We got on the EXACT same type of plane after the switch and the "noises" weren't there and the flight was smoother. The downer was that the kids were wide awake for the second plane ride and Miss Ava required my constant attention, which meant I never got to finish my movie. I have to say I didn't get discouraged I was thankful we were all safe.
The flying back and switching of planes meant we didn't land in Florida until after lunch. By the time we drove (the 2 hours) to Kissamme and hit up downtown Disney is was getting close to dark. We were starving and ate a Planet Hollywood (just like on our Hooneymoon) it was a bit much for the tired and sleep deprived Ava. The noise level was OUTRAGOUS with music blaring. The good thing was that it was so loud you couldn't really hear her crying or Ty's either (they were tired kiddos..but we kept pushing them) We walked around the downtown Disney area and they both got to buy a toy by the end of the night I was exhausted and so we all plooped down on a bench and Jeff continued to shop...he still had to hit up ESPN zone.
After the long day we came back to our hotel and I Ty took a bath and played with his toys a bit...Ava decided he needed his clothes in the bathtub and started throwing them into the tub then she jumped in herself fully clothed (which was not the first time) Here's some pictures.

What priceless memories! Aren't you glad you went? And I love Ava jumping in the bath fully clothed.
