REMEMBER THE ALAMO

Ty really caught me off guard, he was very interested in the Alamo and the stories behind it. He wanted Jeff to read stuff for him and learn about it. Honestly I think he was into it b/c I told him that over 200 years ago they had a big fight at the Alamo. He was in awe looking at the old guns and wanted to know EXACTLY were they fought at. We showed him on a model/map of the Alamo ans where things happened but then he wanted to know the exact place outside where the "fight" happened. He was asking a BILLION questions (usually its only a million questions a day). I was more into the visual history of the Alamo it was beautiful and alot smaller then I remembered.

There were trees like this EVERYWHERE, I think they are beautiful. The reminded me so much of my childhood and growing up in this area. They are huge trees with lots of branches that are relatively easy to climb. I remember climbing these in our backyard and even starting a tree house club...the whole purpose of it was to bring money so we could save it to buy candy. I think we had 2 meeting then the club kinda fell to the way side. But we did give the tree a name...SPIDER. Do you remember this Chris?

This is how we roll.... Seriously the sit and stand stroller is by FAR the best baby thing I've bought. There is a HUGE basket under it, 2 cup holders, a container for my keys and cell phone, and Ty can sit or stand on the back (he usually sits)
and its so easy for him to get on and off it takes no effort on my part. (we forgot the table front and canopy at home)

Ty is a little man after my own heart..he loves taking pictures. Now Jeff and I have our own photographer when we go places and we actually both get to be in pictures.

Ty in front of a cannon

Another beautiful SPIDER tree
Random people on a tour we didn't get to take...the kids wouldn't have it

Jeff and Ty doing their yo-yo thing. Jeff started this "thing" where he takes pictures of himself doing yo-yo tricks infront of memorable stuff while on tour

Jeff drawing over the line Sam Houston made. Those who wanted to fight had to cross the line...Ty jumped to the fighting side

Ava was so gitty riding on Jeffs shoulders (although she looks concerned in this photo) She would look down at Ty almost to say hahaha Daddys holding me.

It was SERIOUSLY hot when we got to the ALAMO...we had lots of water breaks

This is how Ava prefered to roll... not bound by straps or arms...she want to check the place out on her own 2 feet.

AROUND TOWN

This is my ALL TIME favorite picture of the three LOVES. Just looking at this picture makes my smile and even giggle a little no matter what mood I am in.

This was in the guiness book of world records exhibit. This man had the bighest waist it was over 9 feet around.

This was not the tallest man in world record but he did have the big
hands.

Here Jeff is "holding" the worlds largest yo-yo.
