Baby Blessing

Last Sunday was the annual baby blessing at our church. It seemed like there were 40 or so babies getting their BIBLES. There is a serious reproduction surplus at our church!! In our church alone there were 5 babies born the same week as Ava. Looks like she is going to have lots of friends

I had a friend take photos for me...I know the exact conversation going on here.
Ava is SCREAMING and Jeff is asking me if I should take her out...I in turn give a look and saying she is NOT missing her BABY BLESSING. In her defense the poor girl was having a hard time...she had an ear infection, sinus infection, she was (and still is) cutting 2 eye teeth and 3 moles, and to top it all off she had been up since 6am that morning.........it was rough! BUT my parents were driving in from out of town to be there and it was a BIG deal to me that we be there. I just had no idea how hard it would be for her...I guess I get the bad mother of the week award. Moments after her time to shine she feel asleep in my arms...it was just a few moments too late.
