...and she walks. Ava took her first steps on Thursday. We are at the childrens muesum in "baby land" and she walked. I didn't "count it" until she took 3 steps in a row. But I can't believe it. It was just Wednesday (the day before) that she started letting go and standing up on her own. It is all so exciting, and the form of entertainment for me and TY during the day. Ty is thrilled with her.. he chants and cheers for her constantly saying, "good job Ava!" Let me tell you I'm READY for her to walk. Just lately it has started to gross me out the she crawls especially considering the amount of time she keeps her fingers in her mouth. I just picture an endless about of germs and nastiness all over her fingers as she crawls.
I try not to compare my kids but so far they had hit every milestone at about the same time as babies. Ty took his first steps about a week before he turned 9 months.
I thought Ava would take longer but then she surprised me, and in a matter of days she decided to not be outdown by her brother. She turn 9 months today so she barely squeezed in keeping up with Ty. Give her month and I'm sure she'll be running.

Hey April! I decided to start a blog since its hard keeping everyone informed and sending pics. I loved reading through your blog - you sound like you will have your hands full with little Ava walking. (and soo early, too!) That is sweet.
