...seriously the housekeeping staff takes FOREVER to clean!! I know you are thinking I must be a JERK to complain about someone cleaning up after us but... my excuse is that I have a cranky little baby that is ready to go to sleep in her crib. I guess I don't quite have the timing down right. The three of us took a walk to Books a Million and spent and hour there. Ty played with the train table and we read superhero books together..land Tater fussed the whole time because she was tired. And everytime she saw big brother Ty looking at books or playing she would get mad b/c she was having to be strapped in the stroller. I guess it was surprising to me that she isn't just sitting and riding in her stroller like she used to, she's wanting to get out and be free to run and play like Ty....she's growing up--TEAR!
Back to my orginal story...so we left for the book store and were gone for over an hour and upon our return....the magic elves were just starting on our room. Tater finally fell asleep in her stroller but I fell so dioriented killing time for over 2 hours just so I can come back to a clean room. Yesterday they came by while Ava was sleeping and I declined the services, I've done that twice this week...I could always just stay in the room while they clean but it feels so ackward and I feel snobby just sitting there and letting them pick up after me...so I choose to leave.
I'm rambling sorry.....
But while at Books a Million I got inspired about homeschooling again. Browsing through all the resources and books I got excited about how much I do love teaching Ty and seeing his little light bulb go off. Right now we are working on him writing his letters and matching the sounds to the letter. You should hear him try to quiz us...he'll say it starts with a "spid" "spid" getting us to guess spiderman. He CRACKS me UP!
Also I bought a Bible that is in chroniogical order. I'm excited about reading through the Bible this way. I went to a seminar called WALK THROUGH THE BIBLE (which was WAY cool) and I loved the way it visually presented the Bible in order...I felt like I understood the Bible so much better after hours of the seminar verses my four years of a Christian education with Bible class. I've excited to dive in. It's broken up so that you read it in a year, I'll let you know what I think about the setup.
