I did it!

I was motivated today...partly by the fact that a stomach bug with intense throwing up and "the runs" has infected every member of my family except Ty (yes including baby Ava). AND ALL of Ty's close friends have gotten sick with this (friends he was sharing a water with and then threw up latter that day). And somehow the littlest man has not gotten sick, seriously I need this kids immune system. My motivation? To pump Ty up with fruits and veggies to keep that immune system of his in top shape.
Today I made Ty a fruit smoothie (banannas, blueberries, and strawberries) he said it didn't taste good but he drank it anyways. (Anyone have a good healthy smoothie recipe) as a evening snack I made him some strawberry milk (blending some strawberries and milk together..it was gross) Ty could barely cough it down.
HOWEVER..for dinner tonight I made some blueberry pancakes. I added over a cup of blueberry puree (and some grinded oats) to a pancake mix. It turned the pancakes a cool blue color and it was a HIT with Ty. He said it tasted so YUMMY!
Actually this wasn't THAT big of a feat because Ty loves fruits and eats it with no problem. My next task is to add veggies.

Questions- does anyone have a good remedy for diaper rash? Ava has a pretty bad rash on her hiny from having "the runs." I've been letting her go diaper free and I've used some Butt paste that works some, but her little tooshy is still raw.
