spring break camp out

Ty and Grandma "racing" down the hill
Me and my Grandpa This little boy couldn't have been any happier. He is a LOVER of the outdoors.
The idea of "living" outdoors for a week was a dream come true.
I brought a trunk load of outdoor fun. Here Ty is perfecting his swing. The intensity of his face cracks me up.

The three of us..me, Ty and Ava took a nap outdoor in the afternoon sunshine.

Children are so flexible
Here he is rolling and crawling around on the ground.

Fishing using real worms and a bopper

Ty got to spend time with my cousin Betsy, who came down with my grandparents over her spring break... they had a great time playing together.
He loves these sun glasses and wears them everywhere.

Ty and my dad fishing together.

Ty and "the great." It got confusing with my grandparents and Ty's grandparents there so we started calling my grandpa "great" then he changed it to "the great"
Alot of time was spend looking for rollie pollies. At first Ty only wanted to catch them but not touch them. However he soon got over his fear when he found delight throwing them at me and watching me scream! We caught alot of rollie pollies and I'm not too sure any of them survived. Some were rolled down the hill, some where given a ride in Ty's bike seat compartment, and the rest where placed in captivity (which I can comfirm...those did die)

Ty, Grandpa, and Grandma racing down the hill.

While Jeff was on tour last week, Ty and I joined my parents an intented week of camping. My grandparents and cousin stayed for the week. Jennifer, Brooklyn, and Doug stayed for the first part of the week.

We only had pretty weather for a few days of the entire week but we jam packed them with acitivites. Some of the things we did...several nature hikes, fishing, boating, biking, camp fire (with hotdogs and smores:), collected bugs, played baseball, and adventured. Overall we had a great time.

So sorry I missed all the fun- Levi would have loved to spend a whole week outside with Ty. It cracks me up that Grandpa Clarkson had everybody calling him "the great." Also if you talk to Mom tell her not to ever wear that outfit from the first picture with Ty and her racing down the hill. Are you sure that's her and not Dad? Yikes!! :)
