On the MOVE

She is mobile. She's been army crawling for a while but the past 2 weeks, I'm going to call it...she's crawling. She is more of a slow and steady "wins the race" but the girl is moving. While she can crawl it really has been the past 2 days that she is starting to cover some ground in the house.Yesterday I left her in the play room and she crawled to my bedroom to find me while I was getting dressed. And this morning I put her down in the living room, and when I came back she was under the dining room table eating muffin crumbs off the floor, she covered some serious distance with this one. She is challenging me to keep a constanly cleaned floor. She's like a little inspector who sees all the stuff on the floor and points them out by putting them in her mouth. I'm glad she's crawling but I'm ready for her to starting walking. Atleast with my other 2, when they
started walking they cut down their "gross things into their mouth off the floor" time by over half.

Ty's break from school was fun. I loved having him home and watching him play with his sisters.
He and Ava seemed to get along better when they had the whole day to imagine and play together. With Ali he found a whole new way to get her to belly laugh.
Yesterday he said the sweetest twisted  thing.
Ty-"Mom, I can't believe Ali is starting to talk (she's saying Mamama and Dadada) and I can't believe she can crawl already."
Me- "Yeah, you kids just won't listen to me and just stop growing up!"
Ty-"I bet if we covered her all over in glue then she would stop growing" (thought to myself...yeah b/c she would be dead!)
Ty-"No instead of glue maybe we should use tape. I could wrap her legs really good!"

Really digging some beans! She has to put whatever she is eating into her hair.
I think the texture and consisitency of these beans is similar to "right out of the womb" effect. Just incase anyone is into film making and needs to renact a birth. It always looks so fake on t.v. Maybe they should try pork n beans!

She has never done this before. Fall asleep in the high chair. Ava used to do it all the time.I was desperately trying to keep her awake for the drive to my parents house over Christmas. It didn't work.
(Noctice the 70s wall paper kitchen...it's on my to do list. Take note of the before picture!)

We build a ginger bread house, 2 days ago. We made our gramcracker houses before Christmas but they looked more like cardboard shacks. In the after Christmas sales I got 1  3  for a fraction of the price. I'm saving one for Valentines day. I think it would be cute to make one covered in conversation hearts.

Ty really got into making it. Ava just wanted to eat the candy and take the icing off the roof instead of on.
Ali wanted to destroy it as soon as she saw it.

The gingerbread house was premade in the package and actually was perfect for Ali. It was near impossible for me to break off a piece and Ali enjoyed sucking on it's sweetness.

I love to cuddle with my kids, especially my babies. I will not confirm nor deny sneaking them out of bed after they have fall asleep just to hold them.

I know one day she'll get into the girly stuff. But as I turned out of the kitchen after making dinner and found this site, I had to laugh and take a picture. While she loves having her very own princess table (thanks grandma and grandpa) she and Ty are doing repairs to it. They have it flipped upside down with their tools out "fixing it"

The never ending phase of dresssing up. Don't you love his costume?

The reason Ali is wearing a hoody is due to Ava. Ava will not let your hoody go unused. She loves them and will point them out to you in excitment if there is one on your clothing and you are not utilizing it. Ali gets the pleasure of wearing hers (and having her jackets zipped up all the way) when Ava is around.

She's on the move

She's trying hard to pull up and stand. We need to speed up the process...I'm not a fan of the crawling stage.

Your kids are GREAT! That beans picture is NASTY. I like the strawberry on the tush. Those discounted gingerbread houses tempted me, too. I didn't get any but it looks like fun!
