I love this picture of Jeff and the intensity on his face.

Ty gave up playing the cold after 3 holes and chose to munch on snacks and maintain his warms instead.

Jeff and his dad. Seriouly these 2 look (and act) alot alike.

Smiling through the bitter wind.

He wasn't a big fan of having me or Jeff help with hitting the ball. He KNEW how to do it but actually he kept trying to wack at it like a baseball. On the green I told him he had to hit it soft. It took him about 20 strokes to make it to the hole once on the green because he kept doing baby taps.

This is a favorite shot. They are standing in the in middle of the fairway.Jeff is giving Ty free golfing tips:)

Swing and a miss!

(I was trying out the action shot on my camera...I captured Jeff right in the middle of teeing off)
It is priceless that Jeff loves his job but the only downer is that he is out of town a lot. It seems like over the past 3 months we haven’t seem him but for a handful of scattered days. You can imagine my excited when he got 2 weeks off of work. The first week off we had a blast spending time with extended family celebrating the holidays. The second week he had all kinds of family adventures.
You could call Jeffs revived love for golf a hobby but it would be more accurate to call it an obsession. For Christmas he got deck out in new golf gear. He got new golf club set, golf shirts, golf shoes, and golf balls. It shouldn’t surprise you that he played golf 4 times in the 2 weeks he was off. He even found junior golf clubs for Ty so they could enjoy the game together. New Years Day we left Ava with granni and joined Jeff for a round of golf along with his dad, and some friends from church. Ty played for the first 3 of 18 holes then decided he was too tired (New Years Eve had been a long night for him…however he isn’t picking up on Jeff’s obsession for like Jeff had hoped).
Besides the freezing weather I had a blast playing with the boys.
In case you were wondering there were 3 men playing and I bet them ALL!
