Cousin Levi, Christopher and Ty. Since Levi arrived we have had several play dates at our house and Levi was befriened and loved right away by Ty's little pals.

This is Ty at soccer practise getting his chance to kick the ball and score a goal.

I love this picture of my 2 sleeping angels

Smilelo in her halloween outfit I made

Can you tell why ty calls her smilelo?

The gang goofing off. I am so blessed to have made fast friend with so many women at my church. The mothers of Ty's closest friends have become some of my closest and best friend. Besides the fact that they range from 9-15 years older then me. You wouldn't be able to tell by our bonds and conversations. I prayed to God for close friend and he has blessed me.

This picture is a favorite and I'm not sure exactly why. I think it's a mixture of things. Ty wearing his dinosaur costum and doing a puzzle while Ava intently watches his every move. All the while Jeff is on the phone with a business call but still sitting on the floor with the kids.

I love the fact that Ty loves to "play" with Ava and have her "crawl" all over him

I hope her eyes stay blue

Bath time at grandmas house. She's come a long way from screaming through her bath time as a newborn.

This picture was from about a month ago. I think she started pushing up on her hands b/c she can't stand to have her face on the ground and miss out on the action

Serously can these kids look anymore like their father. Did I have a part in making them aside from carrying them for 9 months?

Aunt Val and Ava

I volunteered to head up the playgoup at our chuch for the next year. Last week we took a trip to the zoo. Here are some of the kiddos watching seals perform some tricks.

After the kiddo took a run through the sprinkler at the zoo. Ava is NOT a big fan of the heat of the outdoors...she refused to eat all day and just slept.

The nelson girls supporting their favorite soccer player

Since Ty's games are outside in the heat of the day Ava chooses to go just for moral support, b/c like I said she's not a big fan of the hot outdoors.
They say a picture is worth a thousands words. And since it's been over a month since I've "really" posted I though I would give you a pictorial update of our life.
The lastest...
Ava is growing like a weed. Last Monday I took her for a well baby check up and at 2.5 month she weighted 12 pounds 13 oz and was exactly 2 feet long. She's been holding her head up like a pro for a while now and although she is NOT a fan of tummy time, she can push herself up on her hands. Ty has nicknamed her "smilelo." It's a precious names that suites her PERFECT. Her smile is contagious and constant. I love it! I love it! She tracks us really good and I like to watch her eyes watching her brother as he plays arounds her. She is a awesome night sleeper. Usually she'll sleep for about 10 hours every night however during the day she is VERY inconsistant in her sleep pattern. There are days she will sleep the whole day and then 2 days latter she doesn't sleep at ALL but 10 minutes here and there. But I really can't complain because she is a good baby. Her favorite things are too sit up or stand up on your lap. If she's not tired she doesn't want to be cuddled or snuggled in my arms. She definatly doesn't want to miss out on any action. My favorite thing is that she recognizes my voice. When ever she hears me talking she will look for me until she makes eye contact then the smiling begins. I love her~
Ty is becoming such a little boy. He loves to dress up in costumes and his pretend play is so imaginative. His latest love is doing puzzles. He is a pro. Yesterday he spent a chunk of the day doing his 24 piece puzzles over and over again. I found a website that has virtual jigsaw puzzles (jigzone) and he caught on in no time.
Anyone who is doing early Christmas shopping Ty would love some costumes (after halloween sales) and puzzles. He has also started playing soccer for the YMCA. I would like to say he loves it but I think he's more into the snack and "break time" of the soccer games. He loves soccer practise and was so proud when he scored a goal in practise last week. But during a game I guess there are just too many kids going after the same ball and he gets disinterested. During practise he gets "his turn" to kick the ball and score a goal and doesn't have to fight over it with all the other players. I can see how it would be more fun. Jeff and I tell him we are proud of him for staying in game and trying really hard even though he doesn't get many chances to kick the ball. Saturday when he got to kick the ball in, he dribbed it down the field for a little bit but lost interest when he had to fight for it with other kids. I just love him!
Myself..after making more bows then Ava could possibly wear I started making fun clothes for her. I made her a couple of shirts, dresses, and pants. Some of my favorite are some halloween outfits. I've started looking for a job..sad I know. It's not an urgent need and I'm limiting myself to night and weekend shifts so I can still spend time with my kidos. I contacted the Children Hospital for a Child Life Specialist position. The director called me last week and told me about a position they are trying to finance that would solely be a night shift and then asked for my resume. Anyways it would be PERFECT! I'm trying not to get too excited but the possiblity of everything working out but, has got me hopeful.
Jeff seems to be busier then ever. He's been traveling alot and he is out of town just about every other week.
Chris and Cory have been here for almost a month now and it's like a dream come true for me. I love having her so close. God has really had a hand in the whole process, they've found a wonderful house and Chris got a job all within the first week of moving to town. Ty and Levi are like 2 peas in a pod they've spent SO much time together and still get upset whenever they have to part ways.
Jenn and Peyton found out their new arrival is going to be another girl:) YEAH for little Addison. Her and Ava will be only 6-7 months apart and so we're thrilled to have a girl cousin so close in age.
