Our daddy is HOME!

Ty and made a "welcome home" cake for Jeff. Ty was thrilled that he got to decorate it and spent about 30 minutes on the project.

Just like any son he seeks his fathers approval. He had to have Jeff taste it to make sure he thought it was good.

I love having my man back around the house to do things like this... this afternoon the wind blew and it rained so hard that our trash can was rolling out around in the street almost bocking traffic. The boys rain out into the rain to save the day!

Jeff is finally home after 5 weeks of being out of the state and country on business. Ava held out and waited for his arrival before she makes hers. It was a long 5 weeks of seeing daddy only on the weekends. Mondays were usually filled with Ty crying and having a rough go at it saying that, "he missed daddy!" But now we are so excited because he gets 4 weeks of paid vacation. We have made a list of all the fun things we will do together and Ty put his 2 cents in and said he wanted to go hiking and bowling as well.

Before Jeff came home if I make a comment about, " I ready for Ava to come out!" Ty would say but mommy she has to wait until daddy comes home. Then this morning with Jeff being home I asked Ty if Ava could come out now and he said, "No, I don't want her to come out because I want to play with daddy!" So however longer she decides to set up camp I'm going to keep a busy schedule to help pass the time and keep my mind off things. If she comes as early as Ty did that will put her here on MONDAY! I'm not banking on her coming that soon my guess is next Friday.
