THE END

The end has finally come...VBS is over! It was my first VBS at our new church and it was awesome experience for myself and the kids. There were a TON of kids, I think the final number was 437 kids registered- and half of them were visitors. It was a huge outreach effort. As much fun as I had, I am glad that it was over. For the past 2 weeks my life has been consumed with setting up and then actually doing things the week of VBS. Everyone thought all the work and being on my feet would put me into labor..but I made it through without a baby being born. My role was the team leader for the story of Esther. Basically I wrote a script and my team acted it out 4 times a times for 5 days (YES...it did get OLD) . But I did love meeting new people and spending so much "adult" time together:) I played King Xerxes and got flax out of some the kids for being pregnant...what did they expect. Here is a picture of our group...Team Esther ROCKS!
