Fish boy

This picture cracks me up b/c it looks like Jeff is choking Ty. But he's really just trying to get the goggles on his face. Its a alot of hard work...you have to get them tight enough so water doesn't get into them yet lose enough that it doesn't hurt his face. It's quite a balancing act that apparently requires the choke hold.

Ty in action holding his breath under water
TY looks so goofy with these goggles on but they give him so much confidence in the water to see where he wants or needs to swim...the difference in his swimming with these on is like night and day.

Getting a free ride on daddy.

After the Best Week Ever we left as a family for our last tour with Jeff (or our last tour until after Ava is born). We're in Phoenix this week and the weather has been beautiful. Ty and I layed low the first couple of days catching up on rest and sleep from last week. The true action of our day happens when Jeff gets back to the hotel after work. We went to Cabelas Monday night and Tuesday we watched the Phoenix Diamondbacks play the LA Dodgers. My favorite part of the game was actually watching my own little team of 2 boys as Ty sat on Jeff's lap and he explained the rules of baseball. Ty was a little spongue and soaked it all in. Ty is definately a sports fan, I already have to fight with him over the remote. He wants to watched the "sports" and I'm not a big fan of watching sports on tv. Tonight we are going to a little place called Rawhide. It's a western town set up to mimic the 1800s. I'm excited about going and seeing all the shows and just the atmoshpere of it all. Since we've been laying low around the hotel during the day we've spent alot of time outside and in the pool. Just this week Ty has improved so much in his swimming skills. Jeff and I just laugh at how fearless he is in the water our new nickname for him has been "fish boy" I caught some of the action on video last night and I'm learning how to post it on the blog so I hope you get to review the fish boy in action.
