Give him a little credit

OK. So I feel I was a little too hard on that last post. I know Ty's only 2 and it's to be expected. On the up side of things he is a smart two year old. I'm not saying that just because I am his mother but I also double as his developmental specialist. I do developmental testing on children at work ALL the time ...so of course I have to test my own son. And we work on skills constantly...which is another part of my job.. All that to say he is one smart cookie. I won't bore you and go over all of his developmental skills but his functions above his age level (in some areas he is 2 standard deviations above the mean!) . Some special things he can do- state his full name, the town he lives in, how old he is, his birthday, his address, his mommas and daddys full name, he know basic shapes, a few colors, he can spell his name, he is completely potty trained we are now working on his pone number (he has the last 4 digits down), he talks constantly, and he loves to sing......that makes me feel a little better for dogging on my boy.... He really is a good kid..he just can't he it that he's two.
