Ty's favorite part of Easter was getting to decorate eggs. I got a bunch of supplies togther and we all went outside and sat on a blanket. We did one egg together then Ty wanted to do all the rest by himself. Jeff and I sat back and watched the master at work! He got dye all over himself and everything else.

So Rusty checked your blog and wants to know how we can also have a baby genius? He wants our child to know all the cool things yours does. I teach 2 year olds at church and only one of them knows when their b day is...there is only one!! We see a devel. specialist since he's preterm but only 3 times a year and they have never taught me the things you know. Help us Dr. April. Whitney
Also about the myspace thing..who do you look up. I was bored and looked up Jeff Sprott and Cody Day, they were there but who else...I get really bored about 3:30 in the am.

Your such a nerd!Thanks for the sweet compliments about Ty. I won’t go as far as to say he is a baby genius:) It’s just a lot of repetition. I taught him to say him name and how to spell it first because I thought it would be cute. Over and over I would randomly ask him (it’s only 2 letters!) He picked it up real fast so I started looking for other things to drill him on…which lead to everything else and I just kept adding on skills. From time to time I do have little learning sessions with him while he eats at night. I’ve gotten material from the local teacher store to work on skills. He loves to sing so I make up little rhymes to songs. I work as a developmental specialist for kids with disabilities and special needs…it’s just stuff I do all day long and I wind up taking a lot of my work home and working with Ty. I didn’t start to this intensity until he was 15-18 months old. I believe the early years are critical in development, I just want to give him a head start. Nothing big just 5 minutes here and there all day. I'm sure Paxton is one smart cookie too. Just wait until he starts taking...he'll blow you away!

About the myspace thing. Just go to search and look up our high school put in the year we graduated and you can find lots of people. Some are very INTERESTING!
