July 4th

Our 4th of July was about as low key as they come. I bought about $6 worth of fireworks for the kids and I to have fun with. And after a long nap we woke up just in time to play in the front yard on our bikes as we waited for the dark (and watered the yard). We're talking serious excitment here folks! Ava and Ty loved doing the poppers and got lots of laughs and giggles.

Ty is riding on Ava's new motorcycle. She loved it at first but after she fell off of it once she doesn't want anything else to do it with.

Since we don't live in the city limits people can set off fireworks from their driveway...For example the picture above. We had a pretty decend fireworks show just sitting in our driveway.

Me and Ali living it up on the 4th. Ty took this photo...he's getting pretty good at taking pictures.

Sparklers! It wouldn't be the 4th without them.

This is how Ava decided to watch our family fireworks show. She did NOT like the sparklers.

He really is a good brother.

Ali's front row seat to the nights events.

Ava working on the poppers. I think she only got 5 to pop out of the whole 3 boxes she got to play with. Ty finished them off by running them over with his bike.

Oh my goodness, that watermelon picture of Ali is soooo cute! And Ava's hair is getting long and curly! So sweet!
