I'm not going to lie folks it's a bit ugly around our house. There is sleep deprived, hormonal, drill sargent, impatient mother who at this moment would love for just a moment of the day to have some personal space. There is a 5 year old boy who cries every night because he misses his daddy and during the day has gotten a knack for arguing and has become a pro at picking on his sister and making her scream (although he is a HUGE help). The almost 2 year old girl has figured out the most oppertune times to take advantage of situations when the mother is "indisposed" and this certain little stubborn girl has learned how to "tune out" her mothers directions. The 2 week old baby has been dropping some serious weight and not meeting the docotors standands and so she was forced to drink formula which she projectile threw up for an entire day.
But the 1st week without Jeff is almost over and we have fresh recruits coming in next week. I'm hoping to up my stamina and not go to bed at 5:30pm like we all did last night.
On the good side the kids are in love and obsessed with their sister Ali. She is constantly hugged and kissed from head to toe. And during feedings I usually wind up with all 3 in my lap (hence my need for a little personal space). The kids fight over who gets to hold her and they both love being my helper getting me diapers and throwing things away. I really don't have much to complain about.
Here are some pictures from Ali's first week.
Ali is a good baby and we've worked out the whole projectile vommitting and she's final packing on the ounces.
And for some reason I can't post pictures at this time...and I had some REALLY cute one!!! I don't have internet at my new casa so you'll have to wait until I can sneak out again and we the web...I'll have to get creative.
