AND
I realize it is nearly half way through December and I am just NOW posting Halloween pictures, but blogging has been a little tricky to fit into my schedule lately.
Be prepared for pictures!
Halloween festival at my mom's school

I couldn't resist putting my Mom and Ty in Jail! I was going to make them wait in there for a while but the jailhouse was full so they let everyone 18 and older out for free, my mom snuck Ty out with her.

One of the "policeman" putting a rope around Ty to drag him off to jail.

My niece Addison, isn't she a cutie?

Ava and Addison cruising in style in their strollers.

I just love this photo of Ava and my Dad. He's about 5 times her size and it was so sweet to see them walking hand and hand.

Ty turning a flip in mid-air. He wanted me to take this picture
The pumpkin patch
After we spent all our tickets at the school carnival, we headed down the road to a pumpkin patch.

My mom with Ty and Ava

This is the finished scarecrow we made. Ty picked out the clothes, then we all helped stuff it. Now it sits on my parents back porch and has become their dogs new best friend, laying at his feet and cuddling up to him.

Here is Clarence (my dad named him) literally on the "drawing board" where Ty and Brooklyn drew on a face.

While the girls and the big kids created Clarance, my dad and Peyton watched Ava and Addison. I had bought a homemade strawberry Popsicle for Ava and apparently she loved it, and got it ALL over her.

Grandma pulling Ava and Ty around in a wagon.

The gang watching the artists at work painting their pumpkins.

Me and Ty stuffing the shirt of Clarence

Here Clarence is getting a little stomach stapling to keep his insides inside.

Ty uncle Peyton and Brooklyn feeding the goats.

PUMPKIN CARVING FUN
With Jeff traveling alot these days he missed out on several of our pumpkin activities. So we had to do just one more so he could be apart of it. Ty designed the cut out and Jeff carved the pumpkin while Ava watched.

PUMPKIN PARTY
What's a little Halloween fun without a party with your friends. Here is our little playdate party. The kids got to decorated their own pumpkins in fun foam while drinking milk and eating cookies.

The gang showing off the finished product

My nephew Titus

Ava is not really sure what's going on but she sat sit and a little confused while we took the group photo.

Flash Gordon AKA Ty posing with his pumpkin

Ty favorite friends Levi and Christopher (and don't forget Ava in the background)
The boys kept picking up the pumpkins showing off how strong they were.

CHURCH FALL FESTIVAL
These are pictures of our fall festival at church.
Jeff and I felt very safe that night as we had 2 superheros joining us in the fun, Flash Gordon and Wonder Woman. I think they looked SUPER cute. However there were a few people that referred to Ava as he, I guess since she didn't have the typically princess/ fairy costume on, it might have been tricky to those not familar with superheros. I like dressing the kids up in the same theme for Halloween. Last year they went as a Dinosaur and a cave girl (Dino and Pebbles). Ty was super excited to have Ava dress up in crime fighting gear and partner up with him.

This was actaully the first Halloween event we did this year. This is wear Ava learned some very vital lessons.
1. If you play a game you get candy afterward (I think she's coming OFF her sugar high in this picture)
2. The red bucket Ty carrys around holds candy as well
3. It was this night she mastered saying the word "candy"

Doesn't she look like a little beggar girl wanting MORE CANDY?

Here she is..she some how has stolen the bucket away from Ty and is about to feast. After a while she stopped asking me to open the candy becasue I typically took it away from her. Instead she would put the whole thing in her mouth, wrapper and all.

They had a cool little station where the "doctors" gave you fake inguries. Ty said he got his from fighting crime.

All is can say is NO THANKS! Notice how Jeff is helping the kids touch the snake.

Ava wanting to do everything just like her big brother.

My brother in law, Cory is the youth minister at our church. Here he is in the dunking booth. Ty stood in line twice and tried to knock him down, but he had no luck.

Oh man, you do Halloween up right! I can't imagine what all you've got in store for Christmas plans! My favorite Halloween part is the dogs befriending Clarence....too funny.
What good times! And how could anyone mistake that super cute Wonder Woman for a boy! Goodness! Love the Uggs, tell Jeff the next time he goes to Australia, I want some for Jillian! :)
CUTE pictures!!!
Okay, so I'm going through Roomie withdrawl, so I decided to catch up on Christina's blog. Her boys are so cute! Even though you're much too busy to update little ole blogworld, I still enjoyed a night of McCarty updates. :D
