the newly weds

This is the BEAUTIFUL wedding cake that Jennifer and my mom made. It was the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had. Christina made the flower arrangment on top.

Chocolate heaven... this cake was awesome!!

(My aunt made this Grooms cake)

Here are the newly weds! (she is gorgeous)

Levi got to be the ring bearer and Ty unoffically helped me at the sign in table passing out the programs

Doug's wedding was a lot less intense then the girls. The grooms really do have the better end of the deal. My mom still made the cake like she did for all 3 girls and Christina and I got to do some decorations for the rehersal dinner, but it was nothing compared to the fun and stress of our weddings. Each of us girls has a speciality when it comes to weddings and have been told on many occasions that we should open up our own family wedding business. Christina can do all the flowers and decorations, Jennifer and mom do the cake, mom makes the bridesmaid dresses, Jeff does the sound and electrical equiptment, Cory and Dad do the errands, I do decorations and photography..at the end of it we come out with a beautiful event for only a fraction of the price. Altough I love the creativity I get when it comes to weddings...I don't think I could handle such a high stress event on a daily basis.

Doug and Chelsea had a nice wedding last week in Oklahoma they got back from the honeymoon and are now living just one house down from us. I am excited about having Chelsea as a sister. She is athletic (plays basketball for Harding), smart (made a 4.0 in college), sweet, great with kids (Ty's in love with her), spiritual, and beautiful. She's quite a catch for my brother and I'm so happy he has her as a wife.

My parents made the comment on how our family has changed in the past 5 year...all 4 kids have gotten married and there are now 4 grandkids. What will the next 5 years bring?
